“Quite skinny in style, great amount of crispiness wirth fluffiness inside. You can even ask for your chips to be cooked to your own personal taste, eg, rare, medium or well-done. How’s that for service?” - Sandra

“The world’s greatest chippy. Fresh, hot, very tasty and not at all greasy. Crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, best served between two slices of bread…a bargain meal of fish, chips, peas, tea and bread all for just £4.35. Wow.” - Caroline
“These chips are amazing - some of the scrunchiest I’ve ever tasted. Soft inside and a crispness that stayed right until the end of the meal.” - Jim (but nothing to do with Jim’s Bistro!)

“Fat chips, beautifully browned outside, soft and fluffy inside!! Just like when I was a kid and getting them from the chip pan at home in Birmingham.” - Graeme
“This was my regular chippy when I was growing up. Having moved away for a good number of years, I thought it was just nostalgia that made me miss it. But, on returning to Yorkshire, I rediscovered why it is still the best (better, of course, that Harry Ramsden’s down the road). The Chips are “twice fried” (in vegetable oil) so that they are perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The batter on the fish is perfectly crisp and the flesh moist inside. You’ll have to go a long way to beat these.” - Simon
“Big chips, freshly cooked. Real potato, fish in crisp batter…. blooming lovely. and homemade tartare sauce if you want it.” - Dave
